Pain's Intentional Dance

Navigating this mysterious landscape
Pain fuels my intentions which delightfully dance
Flirting with pathways my intellect seeks a quick escape
Echoes of a narrative I once spoke beneath a moon, a chance…
The depths of my experiences was too deep for my mind to grasp
Following the snap I embraced the Phoenix of my liberty
This body holds no more surprises I cannot mend with remedies in a flask
Emotions are fires which serve the greater good when in poverty
Aches and pains wake my brain with jabbing signals ceaselessly profound
In spirit form these feelings are alien and yet perversely I crave the experience
Incarnation taught me to be weary of the long list I signed up for, dumbfound
Now the ship is sailing through unchartered realms I am left in a trance
Waves of shock permeate this collective realm with bees buzzing
A voice sings clearly, beautifully, from an underground subway
Trees remember as plants and rocks contain memory, a scorpion sting
I once knew your name, it flees my grasp as I relay this essay
Portals are gateways to alternate dimensions which are innumerable
Summoned into its original state, the quantum realm follows a few simple rules
Ideas drift into action, sometimes whilst dreams are immeasurable
I watch and listen to a person playing a saxophone, soulful blues
Alone I gaze into the night, not afraid of the shadow, as once I was along time ago
Liberated I stage an epiphany of praise to the praying mantis
Serenity is not to be sought or chased, rather embraced with breath, nice and slow
Surreal this night unfolds into morn with blazing sunlight kiss
I understand more than I did before, as I explore, I remember less
Cacophony of voices remember my embrace as we witness this ecstatic embrace
Choose the path best suited for you, judge not others, rather bless
Endless choice leave a scattered mind in tatters, dance with lace
What is the last breath if not a final bow to a life of epic proportions, lived mindfully
Herbs and crystals carry memories, in so doing they teach mortals through ages
I remember the first ripple from nothingness, it was the birth of The Mother mysteriously
I write not for mine own enjoyment, but, also to tease your mind to attend your own pages
Explosion after explosion as night becomes day, the Fae foretold this moment
Alignments dance both within and in the cosmic heavens above in grace
I surrender to the crickets as they summon the night into a long postponement
Wandering about one displaces a thought, yet embraces another as if choosing a new face
A jolly dance shared with so many strangers in masks, feeling their souls fire tempered as with glass
Lightning bolt of fierce enlightenment transformed the sands of their previous civilizations, alchemising
Lights illuminate the heavens not just in daylight, now at night, unholy fires which obliterate class
One person's attachment is another's liberation from a cosmic realm based in matter, listen to them sing
I fold these wings over my body, embracing the camouflage which protects the words which escape
Painful memories of our eager fall when humans remembered to call, what was that mountain range called
Forget I do of present indulge as I flit into realms with inner gaze, the noble one remembers to gape
Alas this night has drawn the curtain, no longer summoned, I rest my pen, harnessing my mind impaled
